Maisey, and her owner Tim

July 22, 2014

Ali,
First of all, Maisey is doing great and fitting right into the family. We have found her to be a quick learner, very social and settling into a routine now.  We walk her quite a bit, as well as her access to the yard, but she still has a lot of "puppy energy"!  We have been fortunate, she has not been much of a chewer.

She was housebroken in less than a week (with only 2 accidents in the house), obeys the sit, stay and come commands (need to work on off as she is quite the jumper around new people). She has assimilated quite well with the other dogs in our extended families and is just an all around delight. She also loves her house (crate) and goes in on her own when she is looking for some quiet time.

Of course she is a big hit in the neighborhood, and has interacted well with both children and other dogs (all of which are current with shots). Your efforts in socializing the litter are clearly obvious. Many have commented how well behaved she is!

We took her to our Vet, and she was noticeably impressed with her temperament and socialization. She wanted to tell us to tell you that your work with bringing up a healthy puppy and it is evident you have put in a lot of time with her.  As you could imagine, she has horror stories of puppies coming in from puppy mills and others who are sickly at best.  Maisy checked out very healthy.

We couldn't be happier with her, simply put, she is just a good dog.

Best,

Tim Sylvain

I wanted to update you on darling Pepsi. She sleeps eight hours (praise The Lord!) she gets up around seven eager to go outside pees and poops. She's a real homebody, wants to go back right away but I half drag her to go a little longed for the excerise, she plays in the kitchen but goes nuts when Fargo, our male ca,t comes in which he does just to tease her. She eats well drinks then potty and sleeps in her crate with the lovey you gave her, then she is up again at 11:00 for walk. Pepsi LOVES the ocean! She trotted thru the waves and made friends with other dogs.

Thanks

Shelby, and her owner Kristen

April 23, 2014

Hi Ali,

Just wanted to say hello & update you on how Shelby is doing.  We are having a great time with her!  I believe I told you that she was going to the vet last Friday.  Everything was fine.  The Dr.  absolutely loved her!  She's going back in 4 wks for her next round of vaccines. At that point, I'll be able to take her out to public places like the park & the boys baseball games.  Can't wait!

She's been doing well with her potty training.  Some accidents, but that's expected.  I've been working with her on some tricks.  She's extremely smart.  She already knows to come when I call her, she sits on command, & gives me her paw!  I'm amazed by her!!!

Wish you all the best!

God Bless,
Kristen

Ellie, and her owner  Suzanne

February 1, 2014

Hi Alice,

I took some pictures of Ellie this afternoon, it is a beautiful day.  We were playing in the yard.  She is doing great and is getting bigger and bigger every day!  And this is one smart puppy.

I will continue to keep you posted as she gets bigger.  I have started her in a training class and am possibly thinking of having her be a therapy dog for children if she continues as well as she is doing.

Summer, and her owner Nancy Adams

October 20, 2013

Hi Ali,

The children just adore Summer! I think she is adjusting well to life in Virginia. The first night I went to take her out for potty business and a large toad was on my porch.  Haha! It is nice to see the pictures of her brothers and sisters.  Thank you again for everything!

Take care,
Nancy Adams

Hi Ali,

Just wanted to let you know Clover arrived safe and sound and she is beautiful and so lovable. She had a great night last night and she has been so good today.
She had a few mishaps in her crate on the way here, only to be expected with the flights. She had a bath and is adjusting very well to her new family.
We adore her already.
We have take a lot of pictures already but need to load them on the computer and I will send more.

Bear on their sofa

Dear Alice,

I just wanted to drop you a note to tell you how thankful we are for our sweet Josie. We are always getting compliments on how beautiful and well behaved she is! She also has the most wonderful personality-so friendly, lovable and loyal. We feel extremely lucky to have her as a member of our family. Everyone who meets her also wants to know her breed and I always speak highly of you and your Whoodles! We will be in contact if we ever feel it is the right time to add another Whoodle to our family.  Thanks for everything!

Love,

Bear on their sofa

Dear Alice,

Bear joined our family a year ago. He has been a real joy and a great companion for us all. I have had three other dogs in my life but Bear is unusually sweet. He loves people, is amazingly smart.

My son and I will never forget how you returned to the airport and took Bear back to your house for the night when you heard that our flight home had been cancelled. That was a long hard day at the airport and you were very helpful and kind. Thanks again.

Our only regret is that we didn't get two puppies!

Best regards,

Eric, Renee, Griffin and Bear

Charlie, and her owner Mollyann Brodie

November 25, 2012

Hi Ali

I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I have been meaning to write you for ages and give you an update on sweet, sweet Charlie.

She is the love of our lives. She is such a sweet lovely dog. She LOVES everyone and everything. First on her list is playing with other dogs.... She's very confident, yet respectful of older dogs, and just loves to run and chase and play all day long. We take her often to a great dog park by our house, we also took her to weekly puppy play groups - but she's too big for that now. She spends at least a day a week at her trainer's house playing with the other dogs there - I think it may be her favorite time of the week!

Second on her list is to play with all the little friends we have. I've included a picture of her being "walked" by our 5 year old friend Carly. No matter how old the child - she is soooo perfectly well behaved with them....only jumping when she knows they are playing hard with her. For thanksgiving, we were at my cousins house where she gave the 4 month old a "kissing bath" whenever we put him in his jumper. This weekend - she went on her first "hike" with a bunch of our little friends - I've included a picture from that too.

Third on her list - is us - she is so sweet, cuddly and loving (although she really only likes to cuddle early in the morning - the rest of the day she's too busy and too enthusiastic to snuggle!). I've included a picture of her "tackling" Neal (my husband) and one of her and me from yesterday when we hiked to a top of a hill in San Francisco (that's the city and the bay behind us).

We just wanted to thank you again for everything - she is perfect and we love her dearly!

Wishing you and your family all the best!

Always grateful for the joy you brought us,

Molly

Buddie, and his owner Heather Force

July 7, 2012

Hi, Alice.

He's even cuter than I imagined. As you can guess the kids are super excited!  Buddie was very mellow in the carrier and didn't have any accidents. The kids have never had a dog they could actually play with so it is so great to see them having so much fun. Thanks for allowing us to have this little fella!

Sully, a brown whoodle

I tell you Alice, you breed some great dogs! Sure, I'm a little biased... But wow, what a great looking dog..   And he is even more sweet.  Can't thank you enough Alice!
We are asked all the time and I always sing your praise.  Hopefully I will be able to send some people your way.
Funny story: Sully had his first day with a trainer yesterday.  It was a cold and wet day.  The trainer started by taking him for a walk in her neighborhood.  (where people know what she does and don't bother her when she is with a new dog)  she said 6 cars stopped to tell her that was the cutest dog they have ever seen and that was the most that have stopped her.  Now we just need to make sure it doesn't go to his head.  ;-)

Sully, a brown whoodle

Hi Ali:

Just wanted to send a couple photos of Charlie on his 6 month birthday.  The girls made a cake today (he just got an extra treat) in his honor.  He is doing great and we really love him!  He loves long walks and rides in the car and playing outside (we fenced our yard for him).  He went to several soccer games  this spring and went to an outdoor concert with us last week.  He gets lots of attention when we are out with him...I think because he is so cute and good natured.  I think he is pretty much house-trained...I can't even remember his last accident and he has probably had less than 10 accidents in total.  He really hasn't chewed anything except a shoe or two (mine of course) and doesn't bark unless we really get him excited.

Hope you enjoy the photos!  Thanks so much for the wonderful puppy for our family!

Sonny, a mini whoodle, laying down

Dear Ali,

We hope your family is doing well!  Sonny had a big vet visit last month with the completion of all his shots, a home again chip put in , and nutered.  He came through it all great. He just got his very first haircut, I did it myself, Iım still snipping here and there to try and get it right; he has been very patient.  He now weighs 19 pounds.  One of his favorite activities is swimming in the pool with the kids!  He dives off the side after them and likes to float on the mats. The kids love him very much.

Fondly,

Abby

Moses with the new owners

Hi Ali,

Well we are back safe and sound.  Moses had a pretty BIG day.  The airline was delayed so unfortunately we sat on the tarmac for a few hours.  After the airport, the plane, the cabs he was sooo ready to stretch his legs and use the restroom.  I was so amazed he didn't use the restroom in the carrier.  We made it back to our house around 7pm and Taryn was waiting for us.  They are best buds now...!

After all the traveling he was really shy to come out of his crate but I let him take his time because I thought it would build character for him to walk out on his own.  About an hour later he was back to being a puppy, he ate his dinner, drank water out of his bowl and received his medicine like a champ.  Then the most amazing thing happened after he ate, Taryn put one of the puppy pads down in a random spot on the floor and he marched right over and went #2 dead center in the middle, I mean Ali, I have never heard of any
puppy hitting the mark on the first night in the first round, our mouths were on the floor.  Since then he gone #1 twice on pads also!

We can't tell you how excited we are about this new edition to our family. You did an incredible job with him the last couple months.  We will continue to send more pics in the upcoming weeks as he continues to grow and evolve.  Feel free to put any of this stuff on your website whenever you feel under the owner comments section.

All our love to you, your husband, your kids, and your dogs of course!

Talk to you soon :)

Champ is doing great.  He is the best dog.  He is so smart and very active.  He continues to be a great swimmer and jumps from the edge into the middle of the pool to get his ball.  He loves to play and if there are people around he wants to be petted all the time.  He just wants to be where the people are.  He loves his treats and any kind of toy.  He cannot get enough of playtime.  I think a Whoodle would be a better choice for the White House…. I thought I’d send along a picture so you could see how the male from the first litter has grown – he’s about 50 pounds!

To future customers:

I purchased a female Whoodle from Alice in July 2008. I originally contacted Alice several months before the puppies were born and Alice was very patient in answering all my questions and making arrangements to secure a puppy. All communication and contact with Alice was easy and she updated me as the pregnancy and birth progressed. Pick-up scheduling was also flexible. My puppy is healthy, loving, and well-socialized. I had her seen by my own vet within days of getting her and was told she was in good health. I also have two cats which the puppy acclimated to easily. I have also not had any problems with allergies. I have been around other dogs which are supposedly "allergy-free" and have had reactions. I have not had any problems with the Whoodle though. She is smart and has learned to sit within three weeks. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have or to speak to you on the phone. Working with a breeder was a new experience for me and I am happy to share that it was a positive one. Please feel free to contact me via email at chernandez@logicurve.com.

Sincerely,

Carlene Hernandez

Alice,

We made the trip home yesterday successfully! It took close to 11 hours
all-told, since there were thunderstorms and traffic, but Duncan (I settled
on that name after he met a few people & they liked it, too) did great. He
whined for about the first 20-30 minutes, but finally settled down after I
put up some shade over his box and we got onto the highway.

He gets along well with everybody! Neighborhood kids, people at work,
neighborhood dogs, customers, etc. They all love him - you did a good job
bringing up a friendly puppy.

Thank you for the the "baby pics" you sent over of Duncan. He is definitely doing well and is loved by everyone he meets (work, neighborhood, visitors). Duncan is a great dog and we are getting along splendidly.

Take Care,

JP

Bailey oct.jpg (27987 bytes)

Hey there Alice ,

Bailey is doing great, she is such a smart little dog; so far we've taught her to sit, down, stay, up, speak, and circles. Last time I took her to the vet at the end of July she was up to 21lbs and in great health. I would say she is about 95% potty trained, with the only accidents due to over excitement. I don't have my camera installed on this comp, but I promise we will get you some pictures soon, im sure you're anxious to see her. She almost looks like a little silver back gorilla now with black arms and a brown nose, pretty much just a really cute real live teddybear haha.

Talk to you soon, hope all is well!

Alice

She is doing very well. The kids just love her. She has been doing

very well in training. We boarded her for 10 days and have been going back

weekly for continued education. She's very smart and has fit right in.

Laurie and I have often commented that she is the perfect dog for us. So far

no allergy issues and at this point I don't believe there will be. Well, enjoy the

pictures and know that we just adore that cute little dog.

Sunny 09_10_07-3_006.JPG (80227 bytes)

Sunny is doing great. I have had many dogs in the past ranging from rescued mix breed to pure bred. Currently I have a six year old black lab, Devon, who cannot see because of cataracts. She will have surgery in December 2007 to restore her sight, we hope. Sunny has given Devon someone she can play with and be friends with beside human beings. Sunny takes a piece of Devon's food each morning before eating her own food. Devon will not start eating until Sunny has had her piece. They share the same toys and play tug of war with the same rope.

When I decided to get a friend for Devon, I tried a yellow lab puppy but she was to over powering for Devon. We were fortunate to find a great home for the the lab puppy where she can run, swim and interact with children. I did an internet search and found the website for whoodles and the email address for Alice Garaas. Alice was wonderful. I told her about Devon and what I was looking for. She sent pictures and helped me pick out the perfect puppy to be Devon's friend.

Sunny is a very friendly, happy, bundle of fun. She has been a great addition to our family.
