What is a Whoodle?

The name Whoodle sounds like a Dr. Seuss creation.  A Whoodle is a cross  of a Standard Poodle and a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. Whoodles from Ali Doodle's Whoodles are always a true 50% mix of an AKC Registered Standard Poodle and an AKC Registered Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier.  We specialize in breeding Whoodles.  We don't breed Labradoodles, Golden Doodles, or any other poo this or poo that mixes including F2 or F3.  The Whoodle is not recognized as American Kennel Club (AKC) breed. There are no true standards for Whoodles, our goal at Ali Doodle's Whoodles is to set standard by providing the highest quality Whoodles available.

One of our standards is that Whoodle tails are not docked. Many countries have banned docking tails for humane reasons. We have our vet remove the dew claws.  It is a very simple and painless procedure done when the puppies are 3 days old. If the dew claws are not removed, there is a risk that they will be broken off as an adult which can be very painful and lead to an infection.
